ABOUT US
 
I grew up fishing farm ponds and Barkley Lake before it was even a lake. Some of my fondest childhood memories are with my Dad, Grandad and Great-grandad fishing in Eddy Creek. My Dad ran the marina that is now Green Turtle Bay right after Barkley Lake was formed.
 
I met my wife and best friend of 49 years, Vicki, and we became a pair of fish chasers. Tournament B.A.S.S. fishing was a large part of our lives early on. I was a member of the 1980 Georgia B.A.S.S. Federation Top 6 Team. After we settled back in KY with our 2 children to stay, crappie and panfish became our passion.
 
I worked in the chemical industry until an injury ended that career. I began 5Rivers Taxidermy after graduating from the PA Institute of Taxidermy in 2003. I had also been a waterfowl hunter and guided hunts in SE Missouri for several years.
 
Guiding for crappie and other local species has been something I have been encouraged to do for decades, and have finally followed my heart into this venture. My goal is to bring a family approach to helping fishermen, from novices to pros, learn a new trick or two.
